Allied Health

Allied Health services provided by O&KCHS operate within both the Community Consultancy and Care program and the Integrated ACAS program.

Community Consultancy and Care delivers:

• Physiotherapy
• Dietetics
• Speech Pathology
• Podiatry

The team offers a very specific service, with most clients visited in their home environment or at community health centres.  Our client groups include:

• frail, older people at risk of losing their independence who live at home
• young people with disabilities living in their own homes
• carers of both groups
• people with chronic or long term diseases.

The service is provided to residents of the Rural City of Wangaratta, Alpine Shire (Ovens Valley), Mansfield Shire, and Rural City of Benalla.

This service has received funding from the Australian and Victorian Governments.
