“Volunteering is a lifetime learning experience and it is wonderful doing something for others, but in doing so you also do something for yourself and gain great satisfaction.”

We can meet many new people and be part of the wonderful feeling of belonging”

Volunteers have a long standing core relationship with O&K CHS and the community in which they volunteer. They support O&K CHS to achieve its vision, promoting health and well being together, through increasing community participation, strengthening community action, and facilitating partnerships between O&K CHS and the communities it serves.

At O&K CHS we are working hard to advance volunteering aiming to provide volunteers with a welcoming environment, which offers unique learning and skill development opportunities. Our overarching goal is to maximise the quality of peoples experience as a volunteer. We value the endless benefits volunteers’ participation has for our service, our clients, and the wider community of Wangaratta, Ovens Valley and King Valley.
