Key Objectives Strategies

Develop a holistic health care service by diversifying and growing the funding base

  • Implement a Business Development Plan that diversifies and grows the funding base of OKCHS.
  • Identify short term business imperatives by December 2010 and long term sustainable enterprises by Sept 2011.
Provide dynamic and accessible services by being an Employer of Choice
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Organisational Career and Training Plan. Plan developed by June 2011.
  • Employee Assistance Program in place by December 2011.
  • HR Software identified and in use by December 2011.

Provide an integrated service delivery system to support active living in the community

  • Embed Health Promotion planning and evaluation across OKCHS. Annual Health Promotion Plan developed.
  • Enhance and improve service co-ordination processes across OKCHS. Changes in practice documented by June 2012.
  • Establish and implement a Quality and Safety Standards framework at OKCHS by June 2013.
  • Develop and implement an IT Plan to enhance the client journey.

Build community relationships by raising the profile of O&KCHS

  • Implement the Communications Plan by June 2011

 

 

Have a strong sustainable primary health organisation through partnerships

  •  Explore the potential for a strategic partnership with Gateway Community Health. Decision by Boards to progress partnership by December 2010.
  • Explore potential partners to share corporate services for increased efficiencies by June 2011.
  • Create a continuum of services through partnerships that provides better outcomes for clients by June 2013.
  • Increase career pathways and enhance skills through creative partnering. Outcomes documented by 2013.
  • Continue OKCHS role as a key partner in the Central Hume Primary Care Partnership. Document OKCHS role in achieving goals of CHPCP Strategic plan by June 2013.
